In five words, that’s me. Hello! I’m Jamey Marcel, your go-to photographer for all things playful and heartwarming in Edmonton!

Since I was just a kid (real talk, I absolutely still act like a big kid a lot of the time), I’ve been obsessed with capturing the world around me and its best moments. In 2011, and I turned that passion into my dream job. Since then, I’ve had the absolute joy of photographing over 150 weddings (and counting!), not to mention who knows how many engagements, portraits, and more.

You’ve probably been looking at dozens of photographers while trying to find the one for you. So what sets me apart? Well, let’s see. I bring a bundle of creativity to every shoot, ensuring your photos are as unique as you are. And with a business degree and successful career as a business-person, I mix fun and professionalism in equal parts to give you the best client experience. Whether it’s a wedding, engagement shoot, or just a fun portrait session, I’m all about capturing your story in the most playful and beautiful way. I promise you’ll have a blast during our shoots. Laughter and smiles (and maybe even a few awkward dance moves) are all part of the package. And most importantly, I genuinely love love, I am so here for capturing those super heartfelt moments.

Though I’m based in Edmonton, I love to travel and photograph clients throughout Alberta, across Canada, and even internationally. When I’m not behind the camera, you can find me exploring the world (Barcelona and Paris have my heart), running marathons, cycling, or sipping a good single malt scotch. I’m also a big fan of road trips, summer sunset cruises on my motorcycle, and playtime with my two extra adorable cats, Sofia and Francesca.
